Hydronic Heating Products
Heating your home with hot water is very popular and efficient. The two most
common methods of hydronic heating are with baseboard radiators or with in-floor
or under-floor radiant tubes. The heat source is usually a gas-fired boiler or
special high-output water heater. Radiant heat is known as the ultimate in home
heating because of its even temperature from the floor without getting that
"drafty" feeling. It can also be incorporated into basement floors and garage
floors during the house construction.
Several manufacturers offer radiant systems, such as:
- Burnham
- Munchkin
- Lennox
- Polaris
Water Heaters
Our Bradford White and American Water Heater brands are tops in their class.
Bradford White offers the Hydrojet® Total
Performance System. This cold water inlet tube causes turbulent action inside
the tank. This helps flush out sediment, reduces thermal stratification,
improves efficiency, reduces energy cost and helps prolong the life of the water
heater.
It Is Possible for a Water Heater To
- Reduce sediment build-up
- Deliver more hot water for the money
- Reduce and balance thermal stratification
- AND Be surprisingly more efficient
A clean tank is just the beginning. Bradford White's new Hydrojet®
Total Performance System gives you a strong technological advantage. It applies
the laws of physics and augments the power of flowing water to create a new
level of top performance. And it's standard equipment on all Bradford White
top-connect residential water heaters. Many important features are cut when
water heaters are manufactured for the "big box" stores. You'll often find
plastic drains and minimal safety features. The 8 to 10% that you might pay for
a better water heater will pay dividends.
Tankless Water Heaters
If you are tired of running out of hot water in the shower and want to replace that old hot water heater. Or maybe you are considering tankless water heater for a new project. Well, tankless hot water heaters can be a great solution to your residential hot water needs. They are also referred to as on demand hot water heaters because they don't usually store hot water, but rather create it on demand. Tankless systems have a lot to offer in efficiency. The Department of Energy has estimated that tankless systems can save from 24% to 35% on energy costs.
The New Tankless Water Heaters are
- Ultra Condensing Efficiency
- Eco-Technology
- Direct Vent
- Extended Lifecycle
- Leak Detector
- Air Filter
Navien’s “Condensing 98%” models come in BTU ranges (Maximum input) from 150,000 to 199,000 and can deliver flow
rates up to 7GPM (Δt=55˚F) making them the best in their class. Because of its much higher efficiency, Navien heats more
water with less BTUs.
